Rahab has heard reports of what Israel’s God has done - parting the Red Sea and defeating kings. Unlike her countrymen who oppose God, she is convinced in her heart that "the LORD your God is God in heaven above and on earth below" - Joshua 2:11 NLT. No wonder our hearts have melted in fear! No one dares to fight after hearing such things. For the LORD your God is the supreme God of the heavens above and the earth below.
