The CCC Outreach and Evangelism Team helps Citywide Christ Church share the message of Jesus Christ and build respectful relationships with people in our community.
Under pastoral and ministry leadership, the team plans and supports approved outreach activities, welcomes people exploring faith, connects interested individuals with the church, and follows up with care. We honour every person's dignity, privacy and freedom of choice.
How We Serve
- Pray for outreach opportunities and prepare for approved ministry activities.
- Share the Christian faith clearly, respectfully and without pressure.
- Welcome visitors and connect interested people with worship services, groups or pastoral support.
- Record contact details only with permission and follow the church's approved follow-up process.
- Support community visits, invitation campaigns and outreach events when scheduled.
Our Team Commitments
- Represent Christ and the church with humility, honesty, patience and respect.
- Listen carefully and avoid arguments, manipulation or promises the church has not approved.
- Protect personal information and share follow-up details only with authorized leaders.
- Follow safeguarding, transportation, public-space and event-safety procedures.
- Attend orientation and any required evangelism or ministry training.
Our Ministry Rhythm
- Weekly: Pray for community contacts and complete approved follow-up.
- Monthly: Meet for planning, testimony review and practical training.
- As scheduled: Serve at community outreach activities and church invitation events.
Joining the Outreach Team
Those with a heart for sharing Christ, welcoming people, and serving the community are invited to learn more about the Outreach and Evangelism Team. Team members should be committed to prayer, respectful communication, preparation, confidentiality and a willingness to receive training.
