The CCC Worship Team helps Citywide Christ Church worship God together through prepared, Scripture-consistent and congregationally accessible music.

Working in cooperation with pastoral and ministry leadership, our vocalists, musicians and technical team prepare songs, instruments and service transitions that encourage the whole congregation to participate in worship. We serve with spiritual maturity, musical discipline, humility and sensitivity to the church family.

How We Serve

  • Prepare approved songs, arrangements, lyrics and service transitions in advance.
  • Attend rehearsals and arrive early for sound check and final preparation.
  • Lead worship in a way that supports meaningful congregational participation.
  • Coordinate with pastors, service leaders, vocalists, musicians and the technical team.
  • Care responsibly for microphones, instruments, music stands, cables and other assigned equipment.

Our Team Commitments

  • Serve with humility, unity, reliability and respect for church leadership.
  • Practise assigned music and communicate absences or difficulties promptly.
  • Use appropriate language, conduct, dress and platform etiquette while serving.
  • Follow the church's procedures for sound levels, equipment, copyright, safeguarding and services.
  • Receive musical, spiritual and technical coaching with a teachable attitude.

Our Ministry Rhythm

  • Before rehearsal: Review the approved set list and practise assigned parts.
  • Before each service: Pray together, rehearse transitions and complete sound check.
  • Monthly: Review repertoire, schedules, team development and training needs.
