The birth of Jesus attracted two very different responses. The Magi came to worship; Herod rose to resist. The same star that guided worshippers also disturbed a threatened king. This reveals a spiritual principle: when God releases purpose, opposition may arise. We do not become afraid, suspicious of everyone, or obsessed with enemies. Scripture reminds us that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood” (Ephesians 6:12). We stay prayerful, discerning, humble and faithful.
