Psalm 138:1-2 NLT
Enthroning God in Our Worship

Enthroning God in our worship means recognizing and submitting to His absolute sovereignty and power. It means giving Him the highest place of honor and authority in our hearts and our lives. An example of someone who did this is King David.

David loved and honored God with his heart and worship. In 2 Samuel 6, we see David dancing before the Lord with all his might as the Ark of the Covenant was brought to Jerusalem. He didn't hold back in his worship expression but did it with reverence and humility. In Psalm 138:1-2, David writes, "I will praise you with my whole heart; Before the gods, I will sing praises to you. I will worship toward your holy temple, And praise your name For your lovingkindness and your truth.”
