Matthew 2:1-2
 Seeking the Savior

The "wise men" (magi) were scholars who studied the stars, a bit like astrologers, not magicians. Even though they're mentioned in the Bible, it doesn't mean God likes astrology. God used a special star to show them the birth of the King. The star led them to Jerusalem, where the prophets said the King would be born in Bethlehem. So, the magi went there, worshiped the Christ Child, and gave Him gifts. We don't know for sure how many magi there were; some think three because of the three gifts, but we can't be sure. But one thing to learn about the wise men is about “Seeking and Searching.”
