Spiritual growth is about reaching out to, and connecting with, your inner soul. It’s a method of becoming more harmonious with life around us by developing our feelings of inner power and strength, leading us to live happier lives taking more responsibility for our actions. Warren suggests that these purposes are Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry and Mission; that they are derived from the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37–40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20).
The active participation of its members drives Citywide Christ Church as a body, to always strive for spiritual and personal growth. This is a primary requirement for anyone who wants to serve the Lord.
